Last night I went to our neighborhood association meeting. A speaker from the Historic Commission was there to talk about the process for putting your home on the historic home registry. She suggested we contact the state archive office for further information. I went home and sent off an email to them right away. This morning I got a reply that included a photo of our house from 1939. It was built in 1895 we think, but we hadn’t seen any photos of it from the past. The place looks exactly the same 69 years later. (1895 may not seem old in other parts of the country, but for WA state that is ancient.)

This is the first I have ever seen of your home. It is absolutely delightful.
I want you to know that I have been reading and have so much to talk about with you. I have years now of things to talk about with you. I missed our Thanksgiving together and I miss you.
Keep it up, the work you are doing is lovely.
