Fundraiser

Hello all,

I have listed a small painting in my Etsy shop that is a fundraiser for our flooded organic farmer friends from Lewis County. “The Flood” is a 6″ x 4″ original watercolor painting.

On December 3, 2007 a massive rainstorm pummeled western Washington state. Farmers from neighboring Lewis County were devastated. Many of our locally owned organic farms are struggling to stay in business. 100% of the sale of this painting will go to these farmers. For more information on the flooding see this article.

Hey, Carrie, just wanted to let you know that I check out your blog now and then, and I like your new banner! AND to also say thanks, you were the inspiration for me finally getting an etsy shop, my studio mate Jenny Macc has had one for awhile, but some how, reading your blog and seeing you just DO IT inspired me to do it, too! I checked out your shop and really like what you’ve listed. Did you check out the recycled art street teams. I think there are at least two of them on Etsy.
