We have a serious problem in our house with the stat checking. Since Tony and I both have blogs and I have an Etsy shop, we are checking things all the ding-dong day. Well, this evening I happened to check my stats for the 10th time today (why, oh, why do I waste energy on this?) and found that not only have I had exactly 1,900 hits on this silly little blog, but I have officially written 100 posts in a little under 3 months. (This is 101!)
What started as a whim one Monday morning way back in October has become a regular part of my routine. I really like writing this blog. It has challenged me to do more research and writing than I’ve done in years. I hope you’ve enjoyed it, too. I have tried to keep my focus for the blog on art and craft making, motherhood and recovering from PPD. I’ve found that a lot of people arrive at this URL looking for “depressed at four months postpartum” and “Inuit textile art.” I so wish I could be an abundant resource for those people, but I have only posted a few links. One of the most awesome aspects of blog writing is that you can easily keep in touch with far flung family and friends, plus the occasional artist that pings back to you. (I still don’t understand all the terms.)
So, here’s to another 100 posts. This round’s on me!
