This scarf sat on the back burner for quite awhile. I had pieced the top together and finished one of the hand embroidered swallows, but wasn’t feeling too inspired to finish. Then I had a flash yesterday morning to make the ends of the scarf into swallow tails! I think it turned out pretty well. I didn’t have enough blue linen to finish the backside, so I used some organic cotton flannel. I think the machine embroidered blanket stitch makes the white flannel blend in better. It’s up in my Etsy shop.
