This small doll quilt (8″ X 12″) is a variation of a pinwheel pattern called Cartwheel (or Whirligiggles). I made it for Sew, Mama, Sew’s quilting month. A tutorial can be found here. The one thing I changed, to make cutting out the fabric a bit easier, was to take the stencil I made following Michelle’s directions and re-create it with the 1/4″ seam allowance.

That is gorgeous!!
Stunning! What great colors! You are so talented.
I loved this when I saw it on flickr! Congrats on having your quilt featured on Sew,mama, sew.
Really cool idea and I love the way yours came out. Fun colors by the way
