My brush with fame. I asked Gus Van Sant some goofy question about his paintings after a presentation he did at the Capitol Theater in 1994 or so. (I am the one standing…and very nervous) A friend mentioned seeing this photo on our friend Pat’s Flickr page. Pat recently uploaded all these great photos from music festivals we had in town in the 1990’s. What a fun surprise to find these…if not a little embarrassing to see myself looking so young and awkward.

Glad you liked the photos and stumbled across this one… it was a blast going through them… I scanned over 3000 photos, but only posted about 600 of them.
For the record, I think we all look pretty goofy…
