Yesterday wasn’t so great. Mogs was in this seriously weird space that involved a lot, and I mean a lot, of shout-whining “Up! Up! Up!” After her nap, she just sat in my arms cry-whining. Before dinner it was a repetitive request for milk-whining. Then after dinner is was a sort of crazy-energy-you-can’t change my diaper-whining. It took a long time for me to decompress at the end of that one. Luckily, I had just brought home a new-to-me magazine from the library upon the suggestion of my friend Beth. Catherine Newman wrote the funniest pregnancy memoir that really helped me through the awful morning sickness trimester. So check out this article called, Confessions of a Mommy Blogger, if you too need a good laugh at the end of a whining, two year molar, it’s only Tuesday, and it’s been raining for seven months kind of day.

Oh good! I needed a laugh as well.
I hate it when the wee ones wake up in a funk. Sometimes they take so long to come back to normal. Gah. My mantra as of late is, “This too shall pass. This too shall pass”.
Hope your day is better today.
Well now I was going to go to bed about 20 minutes ago, but then I clicked on your link about the mommy bloggers and I was immediately IV hooked to the computer again. Darn it - I really need sleep! Sorry about your whine filled day, hope tomorrow is a little brighter.
